Jeffrey Epstein Found Dead in Jail Cell, Suicide Ruled Cause of Death

Jeffrey Epstein Found Dead in Jail Cell, Suicide Ruled Cause of Death

Jeffrey Epstein, a financier who was arrested on federal sex trafficking and conspiracy charges, died “by suicide” in August 2019 while in jail.
Authorities claim that he had previously attempted suicide and was under psychological observation, but no evidence that it’s true.

In the days leading up to his death, claim authorities, Epstein was agitated and struggling to adapt to life in jail.

He also reached out to another high-profile pedophile, Larry Nassar, in a letter that was returned to him.

On the night of his death, Epstein excused himself from a meeting with his lawyers to make a call to his family.

He told a jail employee that he was calling his mother, who had been dead for 15 years.

The Bureau of Prisons' failure to adequately staff and supervise its facilities contributed to Epstein's death, and there were also issues with record-keeping and reporting.

The Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in New York where Jeffrey Epstein was being held during his trial was found to have inadequate security and living conditions.

The guards assigned to Epstein were charged with lying on prison records, and Epstein's cellmate was not accounted for leading to him being left alone.

Epstein was found dead in his cell four days later, but he survived with non-life-threatening injuries.

The guards involved in Epstein's case were not sentenced to prison time.

The Justice Department's inspector general is still investigating the MCC.

Epstein had expressed concerns about his living conditions and being treated like a "bad guy" despite being well-behaved, and requested a different uniform.

He was denied bail and faced up to 45 years in prison if convicted.

Epstein's suicide was ruled a suicide, but the cause of death is unknown.

Jeffrey Epstein, a wealthy financier who was awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking and conspiracy, committed suicide by hanging himself in his jail cell on August 10, 2019.

The Bureau of Prisons' report on Epstein's death concluded that he took his own life and that there were no other individuals involved in his death.

The report also stated that Epstein was alone in his cell at the time of his death and that he had been on suicide watch for a short period prior to his death.

Additionally, the report notes that Epstein's history of depression and previous suicide attempts, as well as his fear of spending his life in prison, may have contributed to his suicide.

Are you convinced he wasn’t murdered? Hmmm…
